One flash sale. Two wins.

Hey Reader!

I know there are mixed opinions about Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, but if I could I would string garland and lights around this email for you! 🎄✨

Before your inbox turns into a circus of “LAST CHANCE 50% OFF” subject lines this month, I wanted to slide in with something that feels a little different.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to build a business with purpose—not just in theory, but in practice. BGP has always been about supporting families, through photos and beyond. This week felt like the right moment to put that heart into action in a tangible way.

This sale is a chance to feed two birds with one berry — for you, and for the babies who will be nourished & moms across the globe who will be given peace of mind.

I’m opening exclusive early access to my Spring 2026 Full Sessions from November 14th–18th before the Black Friday madness kicks in.

And here’s how it works:

For every Full Session booked this week, I’m donating $25 to Samaritan’s Purse: Feed a Hungry Baby Project.

Every $25 donation provides nearly three full weeks of specially formulated nourishment for a suffering infant.

You get something beautiful for your family, and together we’re helping provide life-giving nutrition to little ones who desperately need it.

Full sessions are perfect if you’re expecting a new baby early 2026, have grandparents coming to town, want a slower, more creative session, or simply love having photos on the calendar early.

Here’s what you’re getting:

Early access to my Spring 2026 calendar
(before dates open publicly)

A peaceful, unhurried full session experience
Access to the BGP Style Guide AND the Shoppable Style Guide, your choice of date & location, and the signature Session-to-Heirlooms Process

A complimentary $25 BGP Print Shop credit
(to use after your session … new year, new photos!)

Hit reply & let’s chat about what your family is wanting for photos in 2026 and get it on the calendar!

The Details:

Sale ends: Tuesday, November 18
Where the money goes: Your booking helps Samaritan’s Purse provide nearly three weeks of specially formulated food for a hungry baby who is suffering from malnutrition. Learn more about the project HERE.
How to grab your spot: Hit reply, tell me a bit about your family, and I’ll send over more information & next steps!

"BF/CM?" has been scratched down on my list since ... uh ... July! 🙈

And honestly, I'm not sure if I'll be hosting a sale this Black Friday. So, this may be it!

But I did want to pause and spotlight this—it matters more.

I’m down to my final 9 sessions of 2025!! It’s bittersweet bringing another season to a close!

Grateful you’re here,

The Velez's Family Photos

I’m giddy about sharing the Velez’s family photos today! These Scottsdale desert family photos are so beautiful!! Dare I say it … some of my favorites this fall!!

Gabby & Josh are high school sweethearts, celebrating their 10 year anniversary this November! What a joy to freeze time and honor a decade of love and legacy! Celebrating with photos of them with their two sweet little girls!!

Their session was a dream!!

The Sanchez's Family 2025

Year FIVE of taking the Sanchez’s family photos!! I can hardly believe it! Those five years have gone by so fast! And their family photos in an olive garden this year were a *dream* … another one for the books!!

Olivia shared the news with me a couple weeks ago that they are expecting their 3rd!! She has always talked about how she has come to love being a boy mom so much, she can’t imagine having a girl!

She got 2 early tests done … one said boy and the other said girl!! Everyone was surprised! We've been waiting to find out what they said at her last appointment.

Isaac came running up to me at full speed so excited to share if he was having a little brother or a little sister!!

Find out if Sanchez Baby #3 is a boy or a girl HERE!

Hi Reader, Most businesses are in full-court-press mode this week. I’m... not. Here's what this week actually looks like for me: I'm not launching anything new or running a flash sale. I'm spending my energy on tying a bow on BGP for 2025 instead of promos this season … that looks more like spreadsheets & journals, than blogs & reels. I’m finishing up my last few sessions of the year & getting my mind wrapped around Spring 2026 Minis The business runs around my life, not the other way...

The homeschoolers have been keeping a secret, Reader … And maybe I’m breaking the homeschooler code by telling you this, but here it goes: When we started homeschooling, one December day we finally cracked. We vulnerably told our seasoned homeschool friends, “Oh boy—how are you all doing this so effortlessly?” They smiled and said, “Oh, we all take December off from school.” Wait…that’s allowed? Yep. You make the rules. Here in Arizona, we want to enjoy December’s cooler days. We rest during...

Hey Reader! There I was—Up north, laying in bed, lingering in that cozy moment where the sheets are warm and the air outside is crisp. Enjoying my freshly washed hair, and I just laid there, soaking in the calm. No rush to jump out of bed. It felt so good to wake up *rested*. 🥰 Last week, when I finally emerged from my editing cave, I was proudly singing the praises of the new dry shampoo my hairstylist recommended. Because honestly, up early, bed late… who has time to wash their hair? But...
