Hey Reader!
This week was supposed to be the one.
Launch spring minis. Hit send on the newsletter. Cross a few big to-dos off that shiny new planner.
Instead? We ended up babysitting my niece twice while my sister-in-law gets ready to welcome baby #2 any day now. And today, the house is full of birthday balloons & frosting sugar cookies for my sister's birthday! And in between it all, I’ve been trying to finish a handmade quilted baby blanket (as if we didn't know this little boy been coming for the past 9 months 🙃).
Point is... nothing went as planned.
And maybe that’s exactly the pace some of us need right now.

A few months ago, I was walking out of church and Jessie shouted from across the way … “Are you Bethie?! I stumbled across your Instagram the other day and thought, that looks like the girl who sits a few rows in front of us at church.” After taking the Webb's family photos (who also sit right behind us at church) & now Jessie & Drew’s, I’m thinking I should start posting more photos of the back of my head.
Jessie & Drew are the sweetest people … SO easy to be around, the kind of people you feel like you’ve known for years the moment you meet them. They are both so kind, warm, positive, and quietly hilarious.
While I took a two week break from my inbox this Christmas ... my camera didn't get much of a break! And I couldn't let these two super special sessions get lost in the archives, without giving them their moment!
And oh my goodness, it turns out Gibert, Arizona can have fall leaves!! 🍂 I was amazed & couldn't stop gushing over them!! I’ve gotten so used to having to go visit other places to see seasons. It was such a treat to get to take photos in all of it’s golden, autumn glory! I couldn’t get enough of it!
I had the treat of getting to take both the Webb's Family Photos & The Smith's photos there! You can check out their photos on the blog!
